REASONS TO VISIT SOUTH AFRICA

You will NOT regret visiting SA

Cape Town is the place to be.

On 2006, South Africa was ranked by the travel experts to be one of the top tourist destinations in the world.  The issue about crime in South Africa is a complex one, and every year people are choosing South Africa as a place where they can spend their vacations. Often, the first thing we hear from travelers is I would love to go to South Africa but what about the crime? Yes, South Africa does have a high crime rate,  but the depressing news you hear about crime in South Africa is only part of the picture. However, if you are interested in visiting South Africa, you have taken the right step because South Africa is one of the world’s premier destinations and that you will not be  disappointed in your choice to visit the vibrant county.

Here are some reasons of why you should visit South Africa:

Of all the African countries, South Africa is the most modern- That is to say, South Africa has well developed infrastructure, cities like Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg have the kinds of services, entertainment, restaurants and offerings you would expect to find in European cities
There are no language barriers in South Africa since nearly everybody speaks English- This is important. This country has eleven official languages, one of which is English. This language is spoken by nearly everybody. It is easy to do anything in this country from talking to a local, to ordering food in a restaurant, to asking somebody for directions. If you speak English, you will have no communication problems.

  1. It still the same as last......South Africa does have the high rate when it comes to crime. People may still salute us in the tourist department, wishing to come and celebrate their holidays here in South Africa but i still blame our government by allowing this thing(crime) to be in the high rankings. If we look at Botswana, crime is less because the government intefers by making sure that if you have commited any crime no matter how big or small it is, you still have to face the consequences. And when you look at our government, they doesn't do that. I think if you have more money in South Africa, things wont be tough like when you dont have it. Thats how we behave and there would not be anything that can help us to reduce crime as long as our government is still corrupt

  2. Indeed, you are so right our government is corrupted. Maybe if they can stop working for themselves and start working for the nation this might end and be a history. They do not care about us but cares for themselves and for that, other countries wont stop having bad perceptions about us.

  3. Yes South Africa is a modern country but still it also has a high rate of crime so who would come to this country and put their lives at risks?

  4. The goverment sholuld take it from there that people out there are now scared to come and visit us and therefore do their best to fight against this demon of other countries having a wrong perception over our country
